Stuart Rimland is an associate in the firm’s Boca Raton office. He concentrates his practice in the areas of insurance and commercial litigation, including life, health and disability, ERISA, and property claims. Prior to joining McDowell Hetherington, Stuart clerked at the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit of Florida. There, he researched and drafted memoranda of law and proposed orders on various civil and criminal matters.
During law school, Stuart was actively involved in Moot Court and received both the William Jennings Bryan Award and the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Award for Outstanding Speaker for the Miner Moot Court Competition. Additionally, Stuart served as a member of the Journal of International Human Rights. Stuart also had the opportunity to extern with the Hon. Judge Ryskamp in the Southern District of Florida.
Outside of the office, Stuart participates in the Craig S. Barnard American Inn of Court, and is an instructor and performer for Improv U, an adult improvisational school.
