Steve Umeh is an associate at the firm’s Houston office who maintains a general civil litigation practice.
Steve graduated from Thomas Jones School of Law after completing his third year as a visiting student at The University of Houston Law Center. As a law student, Steve had the pleasure of clerking for Fred Gray Sr., the former attorney of Dr. Martin Luther King. Additionally, Steve served as an intern for the Alabama Attorney Generals’ Office where he concentrated in deceptive trade practice act violation cases. Steve also served as an intern for the Alabama Federal Defenders Office. Prior to joining the EMH, Steve was a City Prosecutor for the City of San Antonio, focusing his prosecution on assault cases.
On his time off, Steve enjoys traveling, playing sports, watching comic book movies, and spending time with his family.
