Margaret E. Jennings maintains a general civil and commercial litigation practice with an emphasis in life, health, and disability insurance and ERISA litigation. She represents clients in both state and federal courts across the country. Margaret joined the firm in 2014 after clerking for the Hon. Melinda Harmon of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. She uses the valuable insights gained during her clerkship year and her past trial experience to effectively represent clients at every stage of litigation.
Margaret graduated from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles where she served as a production editor for the Entertainment Law Review. While in law school, she also served as a writing tutor and received a scholarship from the Association of Business Trial Lawyers. After law school, Margaret gained litigation experience at a boutique firm in Los Angeles specializing in legal-malpractice defense.
A native Iowan, Margaret now lives in Houston with her husband and their dog. Outside the office, Margaret can be found at the latest installation of the Houston Museum of Fine Arts, attending a performance by the Houston Ballet, or sampling the latest culinary creations at one of Houston’s fine local restaurants.
