Delaney Dunn Dichoso maintains a general civil and commercial litigation practice focusing on a variety of matters including employment law; life and health insurance; stranger-owned life insurance; contract disputes; business torts; securities litigation; and bankruptcy. Delaney also serves as Employment Counsel for EMH, overseeing all employment and human resources related matters. In this capacity, Delaney is responsible for all employment-related legal issues and ensures the firm’s compliance with governing regulations and rules of professional conduct across jurisdictions in which its attorneys practice. She also handles employee relations, development of firm policies, and risk management. Delaney is available to the firm’s clients when they have employment and human resources matters that need to be resolved.
During law school, Delaney was a member of the South Texas Law Review and a member of Phi Delta Phi honors fraternity. She also spent a summer interning for the Honorable Frances H. Stacy of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Prior to beginning the practice of law, Delaney was the owner of a successful Houston area clothing boutique.
Outside of the office Delaney enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and son. She is happiest when she is sitting by a beach; a book in one hand, a glass of champagne in the other, and her family close by.
