HOUSTON, TX. (October 1, 2016) -– Four EMH attorneys recently participated in Houston Bar Association’s (HBA) Law Week Reading Program, reading to students at local elementary schools to celebrate Constitution Day.  The EMH lawyers — Cole Conkling, Andrew Edison, Bradford Hendrickson and Casey Minnes — also spoke to the young students about the legal profession and the United States Constitution, answering some tough questions about what it takes to be a lawyer.

Mr. Conkling spoke to students at Harvard Elementary;  Mr. Edison spoke to students at Anderson Elementary; Mr. Hendrickson talked to students at Cook Elementary; and Ms. Minnes spoke at Codwell Elementary.  Mr. Conkling is Co-Chair of the HBA Law Week Committee.

The HBA Law Week Reading Program reaches more than a hundred schools in the Greater Houston area with legal professionals reading law-themed books to students and sharing their personal stories of how they entered into the legal profession.
