HOUSTON, TEXAS (October 12, 2016) — EMH partner Andrew Edison has been elected to the American Board of Trial Advocates (“ABOTA”), one of the most prestigious national organizations for trial lawyers.

“I am truly honored and humbled to join this distinguished group,” said Edison, one of EMH’s founding partners.

ABOTA membership is by invitation only and is limited to a small number of attorneys in Texas and across the United States.  Members must possess a wealth of trial experience and uphold the highest standards of integrity, ethics and civility in the legal profession.  Prospective members must also receive approval from the local chapter and the national board to gain admission.

ABOTA’s  mission is to elevate the standards of integrity, honor, and courtesy in the legal profession; aid in the further education and training of trial lawyers; and to cultivate a spirit of loyalty, fellowship, and professionalism among its members.
