Aaron Storm Phoenix Tower Aaron Storm is an attorney in the firm's Houston office. His practice covers a broad range of litigation matters, focusing primarily on commercial, employment and oil and gas litigation. He also has experience representing clients in cases involving business torts, personal injury claims, and pharmaceutical product liability claims. Aaron also has represented clients in class action lawsuits. Prior to joining EMH, Aaron was an associate in the Houston office of Baker Botts, where he was recognized by the firm for his outstanding pro bono efforts. Before joining Baker Botts, Mr. Storm was an associate at Miles & Stockbridge in Baltimore. Aaron spends his time outside the office with his wife and two daughters, playing golf (but not well) and cheering on his beloved Chicago Bears. Admissions Maryland Texas United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas and the District of Maryland Representative Matters Represented a Houston-based subsidiary of the Continental Corporation that manufactures products for use in oil and gas production in a lawsuit against a former company executive alleging claims of breach of fiduciary duty and fraud. Aaron authored a motion for civil contempt against the former executive based on violations of an injunction, which the trial court granted. Aaron then negotiated a favorable settlement agreement on his client's behalf.
Represented two co-owners of two local franchises of a national sandwich chain in a dispute with a third co-owner over the sale of the business.
Represented more than two-hundred current and former servers of a Houston-based steakhouse chain in a federal lawsuit alleging violations of federal wage and hour laws. Along with drafting several summary judgment motions and responses, Aaron conducted a court-ordered interview of the defendant company's COO and its financial records manager.
Represented several large chemical companies on a docket of several lawsuits alleging personal injuries caused by emissions from a synthetic rubber plant in Port Neches, Texas.
Represented one of the world's largest oil and gas producers in a lawsuit alleging underpayment of federal royalties on natural gas production.
Represented global pharmaceutical manufacturer in multi-district litigation involving product liability claims.
As a volunteer prosecutor for the Houston City Attorney's Office, Aaron tried more than fifteen cases to jury verdict.
